This Teaching Atlas is a comprehensive collection of lectures and teaching cases designed to provide Radiological Technologists with an extensive understanding of the current state of breast imaging. Areas covered include plain film mammography, screening mammography, magnification views, additional views for specific situations, breast ultrasound, specimen radiography, and breast interventional procedures. The student can use this tool to learn terminology, patient positioning, artifacts, basic diagnosis, normal variants, applicable radiation physics, and pathology.

The teaching cases on this CD-ROM have been credited with 24 hours of Category "A" Continuing Education credits by the ASRT. We have divided this collection into three approximately equal sections to give you the flexibility to study and receive credit for only the hours you desire. You can choose to receive either 8, 16, or 24 hours of credit. This also allows you to receive a block of 8 or 16 hours now, and the remaining block of hours sometime in the future. There is a separate charge for receiving hours of credit: $80 for 8 hours, $145 for 16 hours, $195 for 24 hours.

Credits are received by taking a test. The test questions and images are all contained on the CD-ROM, so you do not have to be connected to the Internet while answering the questions. However, once you have filled-in your test, you must have Internet access to submit it. Once submitted, the test will be scored instantly. If you do not receive a passing score, don't worry, our policy is no-pass/no-pay. You can keep making corrections and re-submitting the test until you do pass. And remember, no record of your test submission is kept until you receive a passing score! Your certificate of credit is e-mailed to you upon successful completion. It couldn't be easier.
